Hello, Let’s do the throwback session.
In September 2014, I went to Singapore with my otherhalf and two friends for pre-wed photoshoot. Why Singapore? Singapore hold every memories between me and him.
Unfortunately, shit happens come in early September 2014. Haze was all around Singapore because of Indonesian fires. So, we didn’t get a good weather and very bad air quality. We had to cover our nose and mouth with mask to prevent the bad air quality. But, the photoshoot must go on. So, we decided to go here :
1. Old Hill Street Police Station
There’s one old unique building that always caught my eyes in every of my trip to Singapore. This building called : Old Hill Street Police Station and has colorful windows. Those windows of this building consist of 4-5 colors such as : blue, yellow, green, red and purple. That’s why I choose this building for the playful and cheerful tone.

How to get here?
It’s only 5 minutes walk from Clarke Quay MRT and you will find this unique building.
2. Punggol Lalang Field
Punggol is far from the heart of Singapore. This area is so big & there’s a lot of spots to explore. Punggol Lalang Field is near the Punggol Waterway Park. We arrived at 2-3 pm which means the sun on that day literally above us (I suggest to visit around 5pm). You can walk around these lalang field and have a great nature shot.

How to get here?
Around 20-30 minutes from central Singapore with the MRT (CMIIW). Make a stop at Punggol MRT (NE Line) and continue with the LRT to Riviera LRT. Find the Whisk & Paddle Restaurant then go down to the Punggol Promenade Riverside. Walk until you see Lorong Halus Bridge (the red bridge) on the right, then on your left that’s the Punggol Lalang Field.
Cheers, J.
